Tips For a Successful Relationship.

Tips for a successful relationship by Ogiri John Ogiri.

Success in a relationship is a function of mutual respect and understanding between the parties involved in such a relationship.  Whatever your partner doesn't like or  is not comfortable with, please don't do it. Remember that when you hadn't met him or her yet , when you were still alone, you could do whatever pleased you. But now that you're in a relationship with that special person, you must understand that your opinion alone shouldn't count anymore. Seek her opinions.  Listen to her suggestions.

In addition, Live by the precept of the Golden Rule " Do to others what you want them to do to you. Don't do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you."
If it hurts you, know that it hurts her more. If it can hurt you, know that it can hurt him the more. Don't be selfish.

Further more, if you hear anything bad or negative about your partner, don't start getting mad without finding out the truth yourself. Who knows? That information or story may not be true after all. Or do you think it's everyone that can be happy or comfortable seeing you happily married? The devil can use anyone ( your mother, father, brother, sister, even your so-called good friends ) to destabilize your relationship and keep you unmarried. You must resist his wicked antics. Some are just happy with you for as long as you remain unmarried. So watch out!
Finally, don't neglect the divine element of prayer in your relationship. If you can not be proud of your relationship before God, then quit it. That's an unholy relationship. An individual in a good and holy relationship won't hesitate to go to God in prayer with his or her partner. Ask your partner to go to God in prayer with you. Whenever you're alone with yourselves when no one is watching, ask him or her to kneel down and pray with you for the success of the relationship. Do this often.
Have a focus. Don't just date for the fun of it. Know why you're dating. This is important so that you don't regret in the end. It's very unfortunate that so many young people are currently in a relationship which direction they can't confidently and honestly tell. They are just there to while away time or just having fun. How can you be whiling away your life without having a rethink?  Examine your relationship today and you will understand what I am talking about.
May God grant us success in our relationships. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ remain with you. May God see you through in your relationships.
Stay blessed.
